I would recommend this instead of spending over $100 from those electronic shops. It was easy to install. I didn't have any issues adjusting the tilt (as mentioned in some of the posts). One pointer on installation is that other slots in the wall mount can also be used for mounting.
I would also like to thank others for providing their reviews. This did help me decide in taking the risk.

The materials are very strong and easily support the tv. The kit provides all of the mounting items with many extra fasteners. It allows a tilt of 15 degrees. The cost is much less than any comparable tv support found in retail stores.

Holds TV to the wall for about half of what you would pay elsewhere. All told, installing the mount and hanging the TV took about 30 minutes. Would highly recommend.

First of let me say that tv mounts and hdmi cables in any department store are where you will see HUGE markups. This mount, or one like it, may cost you an extra 200$ in a large store.
I got this mount and as i unboxed it i was surprised how little hardware there was - just a few steel bars and some screws etc. Very simple instructions, not very thorough but enough to give you the right idea.
If your tv is anything over 40" (approx) i would say that you MUST get the bolts into studs in the wall. If you get the bolts into your studs you should have no problem mounting large tvs. Mine was a 52" bravia and it was held just fine.
The screws/hardware it comes with includes everything you will need to mount the large bracket on the wall and some universal screws that may or may not fit your tv (i ordered 2 mounts , 1 for a 46" sharp & 1 for a 52" sony & the screws that came with the mount fit in both)
For the money this is a great mount. About 30-45 minutes install time. Take your time, find your studs , measure etc.

I was a bit hesitant to order this because the price was so cheap. Most wall mounts are over $100 everywhere I looked.I know some reviewers had problems with the directions, but quite frankly my husband did not even read the instructions and had this wall mount up in about ten minutes. True, he has put up about ten of these between our daughters and friends, but he too, was super impressed by the price of the mounts, as all the other mounts were well over $100 and better.The quality and strength of the mount was just as good, if not better than the more expensive ones. I just ordered another one. I wanted to order the one with shelves, but my husband stated with that one you may not have the tilt that you may need. I am not sure if that is true or not, but this single wall mount is GREAT. DO not hesitate to purchase.
